When it comes to side dishes, my family can't enough of pasta and rice. We also prefer to eat food that are made from all natural ingredients. Not only do natural ingredients make for healthier meals, they also tend to taste a whole lot better. This is why I was so excited when I received an offer to review boxes of Farmhouse Foods. They were very easy to cook and as long as you follow the directions on the back of the box, it's nearly impossible to mess up.
My favorite pasta would have to be the Four Cheese Flavor Pasta. I'm a bit cheese-obsessed so when I put this in my mouth and was actually able to taste all four cheeses, which went together beautifully, I might add, I was in heaven. I also really enjoyed the Parmesan Flavor Pasta that we ate along with some steak and it was absolutely delicious! Another one of Farmhouse Foods pastas that we enjoyed was the mouth-watering White Cheddar Pasta.
My husband went nuts for the rice. We tried the Chicken Flavor Rice first. I baked some chicken and stirred it into the rice while the rice was cooking and it was scrumptious! The Rice Pilaf was probably my favorite of all the rices. I love vegetables, especially when they are mixed with rice, so it was tasty and it made me feel good that I was doing something positive for my body. The Long Grain & Wild Rice was also exceptionally tasty. It's a great side for baked chicken breasts.
I am so very happy that I had the chance to taste Farmhouse Foods pasta & rice. Now when I go to the store, I will be looking for their label because I know that it will taste great and be better for my body because it is all natural. They even have recipes on their website to help you mix things up a little bit!
